Our first stop was Las Vegas, Nevada. We flew down from Portland, Oregon...only a two hour flight so it wasn't that bad.
Vegas is a rather interesting place. More porn and strip tease shows than anyone could ever want. Rathe distgusting. We only stayed their for two nights, separate weekends. While we were there we stayed at the Tuscanny and MGM Grand.
The Tuscanny kinda sucked...nice room 'n' all, but compared to other places we stayed later, it was just a crap place to stay. The room was sorta small, but big enough to look like it would be comfortable. Sarah and I were able to check our email, we nearly live on that which is really just sad by any standard. The service was also pretty poor. We needed extra towels but we didn't get them til about 12PM when we had called for them at around 8 or 8:30. The restaraunt though was really good...good food. lol.
Next, we drove for about 4 hours down to Palm Springs. The place made me feel like genuine trailor trash. Everthing was so goddamn expensive...it's hard to believe people actually buy things there on a daily basis. We stayed at the Palm Desert Villas. Hell of a nice place. The rooms were like a studio...we had our own master bathroom and fridge and such. Very nice. The pool was hardly ever crowded...atleast ours wasn't. The place had seven pools, and a lot of people stayed at the really big on...Los Palmares...or something like that. Sarah and I managed to break the sliding screen door just by trying to open it (this is one of first things we managed to break..so bear with me). So, we kinda just set it aside on the deck and pretended nothing happened. Later we had the maintnance guy come out to fix it when he brought over the replacement iron...which was already broken when we got there. Anyways, the stay there was really nice, very nice infact...we stayed for a week.
The following Saturday we drove back to Las Vegas and stayed the night. We got Henna tattoos which were sort of a rip off...they say they last 2-3 weeks but it really starts to fade after one. But the guy who gave them to us was so fuckin hot. Piercings...great stuff. Afterwards, we went to the Flamingo...some casino obviously, and saw a show called Second City. Which is sort of like a Saturday Night Live type of thing, it was extremely funny.
Sunday we set off for St. George, Utah. Yes, Utah. Not the greatest of places geographically speaking but lets just say Sarah and I now know where all the hotties vacation. lol. When we got there Sarah managed to break the blinds...you know those stupid Vinician blinds that hang vertically. She opened them and two of the little flap things just fell off...so she grabbed them and stuffed them in the closet before her parents came in. Anyways, the rooms there were pretty nice...not as good as the ones in Palm Springs or at the MGM Grand (which is where we stayed in Vegas the previous weekend). The first day we went to Zion National Park...which was really a drag..too damn hot and neither me or Sarah wanted to be there. Although, we did see a lizard while we were there (yeah...great...i know).
The next day we just stayed at the hotel...it was really nice. Slept in til about 10 AM. After waking up Sarah and I went over to the rec. room and played air hockey and pinball while sort of stalking this really cute guy...who we eventually talked to and are now still keeping in touch with. His name is Cody...he's 16 years old and lives in Hicksville, Idaho. He's not a hick so don't start getting all "eww" about it. He's a real hottie (I've got documented proof -pictures!-). Anyways, we really didn't talk to him til Thursday. Which sucked because we were leaving Saturday. He's also really really funny. We talked to him for about 3 hours on friday night...just about random things too. Sarah was getting a little annoyed though because he'd keep walking by our room window without his shirt on...she insisted he was doing it on purpose. But it was really hot out, so if I was guy, I'd probably be walkin around with out a shirt on if it was 115 degrees outside. He was always out walking around really late at night...he eventually told us it was because he had broken his back in a snowboard accident (i believe it was snowboarding) and had surgery...but since then he can't really sit down for a long time with out it bothering him. He also threw in at this time that he was somewhat accident prone. Which you never would've really guessed.
We also met a guy named Josh. He's 20 and lives in San Diego...also a surfer. Sexy. lol. Appearently his younger brothers who were about 9 or 10 years old had been watching us for him or something like that. lol. He talked to us when we were just sitting at the pool. He's really funny too, really cute, and had a really really nice ass. o.O We didn't have a chance to get his picture or email or anything because we didn't see him any other time except for then. We wished we had just left our email addresses outside his door before we left Saturday.
Aside from all this we went to the Grand Canyon (north rim i believe) and Bryce National Park. They were both ok...I really liked Bryce though...nicest by means of geographical shape 'n' what not. Anyways, its late and i'm out so bye!
Oh yeah...my other entries probably wont be a boring at this one!
